Biography

Tina Dutta was born as Tanisha Dutta on 27 November 1986 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India. They are all fondly called as Tinji at home. She started acting at the age of five. However, Tina has actively worked in both the Hindi and Bengali entertainment industries. She gained immense popularity for her excellent performances in Hindi TV serials. Due to which she also won many awards, performing best in the TV industry.

Tina Dutta was born to a Hindu parent. She has a brother Debraj Dutta. She was dating Supervising Producer Mahesh Kumar Jaiswal. Currently, Tina is also dating a businessman Paresh Mehta.

Career

Tina Dutta received her primary education from Meghmala Roy Education Center, Behala, Kolkata, and St. Paul Boarding and Day School, Kolkata. She did her graduation from Calcutta University. She started her acting career as a child artist in the 1992 TV serial Sister Nivedita. As a child artist, Tina has also worked in several Bengali films such as Father Mata Santan (1997), Dus number Bari (1997), etc.

In 2009, Tina made her television debut as an actress in Colors’ TV popular show Utran with the role of Desire Bharti Singh Bundela. Due to which she has also acted in various reality TV shows like Comedy Circus (2009), Comedy Nights with Kapil (2013), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 7 (2014), Comedy Classes (2015), Comedy Nights Bachao (2016), etc. She also played a key role in Colors’ TV serial Utaran.

In the year 2014 and the year 2016, she participated in the reality of the sports entertainment TV show, Box Cricket League (season 1 and season 2) as a player in the Ahmedabad Express team. Apart from this, Tina also participated in the 2016 reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 7 as a contestant. In the year 2017, she played her first mythological TV serial Shani as Shani’s wife Dhamini.
