Manu Bhakar was born on 18 February 2002 in a village in Jhajjar, Goria, Haryana, and got his primary education from Universal Public Senior Secondary School.

Manu Bhakar was born into a Jat family, where his father Ram Kishan Bhakar is the Chief Engineer in the Merchant Navy and mother Sumedha is a school teacher. Career
As a professional shooter, he joined Virender Sehwag Coaching School in Jhajjar before starting his career. Where he received training in boxing and kickboxing. During the warm-up session, Manu quit boxing due to his eye injury while playing volleyball.
From th-thog to judo, Manu expanded herself into several other sports, but she did not feel comfortable in any and soon left the other games as well.
Finally, he visited his school’s shooting range and decided to pursue a career at the shooting range. Due to which Manu fired 7.5 shots. After that Manu got opportunities to shoot for India. His coach is Jaspal Rana, who inspired him to do the shooting.
